Terms of use

These terms apply when you use Gemala Quest (gemala.guligila.com, play.guligila.com and apex.guligila.com) or buy anything from it. By creating an account or paying, you agree to them. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should read them with you and agree on your behalf.

1. Who we are

Gemala Quest is run by Yoshua Chua Song Leng, 40, Jalan Melawati, Taman Bandar, 83000 Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia. Contact us at [email protected].

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in details private; you are responsible for what happens on your account. One account is for one student. Give us a real email address: it is where we send receipts and where the billing page sends its sign-in codes.

3. What you can buy

• Gemala Quest Subscription, RM25.00 a month. Every purchase needs an active Subscription, so it is added to your first order. It renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• Subject packages (Lite, Medium or Full), paid once. The price depends on how many worksheets the subject has, and is shown before you pay.
• Past-year-style paper sets, paid once per set.

The Realm Pass. While you have an active Subscription and at least one subject package, the Suvarnabhumi Realm game is included at no extra cost. Your game progress is saved, every mark you score on a worksheet or paper earns 1 Gold Coin (spendable only in the game, with no cash value), and you are given a homestead for as long as your Subscription stays active. If your Subscription ends or lapses, the homestead is freed for another student a few days after your paid period ends and any crops on it are cleared, but your character, Gold and items are kept for when you return. Homesteads depend on space on the current map; if it is full, you join a waiting list.

All prices are in Malaysian ringgit (RM) and include any charges we are required to collect. The price you see at checkout is the price you pay. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

4. Free trial and free worksheets

New accounts get a 7-day free trial with 6 worksheets of your choice and the game. Trial game characters are fresh on every visit; half the marks you score during the trial become Gold for your next visit only. Chapter 1 of every subject is free for ever, and so is every Bible Knowledge worksheet. Nothing is charged when a trial ends.

5. Cancelling your Subscription

You can cancel at any time from Manage Subscription (in the site footer and on My Dashboard). It stays active until the end of the month you have paid for, and is not charged again. See the Refund policy for refunds.

6. Using the worksheets and the game

Worksheets, papers, mark schemes, artwork and the game belong to Gemala Quest or its licensors. You may use them for your own study. Please do not copy, share, resell or publish them, share your account, or try to get around payments or access limits. The worksheets are original practice material written in the style of the IGCSE and SPM syllabuses. They are not official papers, and Gemala Quest is not connected with Cambridge or the Malaysian Examinations Board (Lembaga Peperiksaan Malaysia).

7. Fair play

Be kind to other players in the game. We may suspend or close an account that cheats, harasses others, or misuses the site, and refund any unused Subscription time when we do.

8. Changes and availability

We keep adding and improving worksheets, and may change or remove features. We aim to keep the site running at all times, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. If we change these terms, we will update the date above; important changes will be emailed to you before they apply.

9. Our responsibility

Gemala Quest is a study aid: we cannot promise particular exam results. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under Malaysian consumer law, including the Consumer Protection Act 1999. Apart from those rights, our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem.

10. Your information (privacy)

We keep your email, display name, character, results and purchases so the site works for you. We use them only to run Gemala Quest and never sell them. Payments are processed by Stripe and accounts are stored with Supabase. To see or delete your information, email [email protected].

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
